Askina® Pad S is a non-adherent ready-to-use compress with slit for wound treatment with catheters. It consists of an absorbent pad with a low-adherent wound contact layer that is gentle to the skin and non-woven fabric.


Askina® Pad S is indicated as an absorptive dressing for drainage sites, around catheters, feeding tubes, suprapubic catheters, etc.

Material

Askina® Pad S is composed of three layers:

  • Layer 1: Hydrophobic backing polyester
  • Layer 2: Super-absorbing fiber (70 % viscose, 30 % polyester)
  • Layer 3: Non-adherent polyethylene for skin contact
